H&M charity collection

H&M designed a charity collection against AIDS. Many celebrities are modeling in the shots for the new clothes, for example Selma Blair, Keri Hilson or Sky Ferreira.

I think, it was a very good step from H&M to do a charity-project, because it's really important, that the big fabrics, companies, labels, whatever, who own much money, help for others who've got problems in their life. Because, who else should do it? Who else should or could spend enough money for those who need it? Of course there are a lot of people who spend lots of money on charity, but the biggest part of the money is in big world-famous fabrics, companies and labels! So, I think H&M did, what every label should do!

Selma Blair
It's another question, if I would wear the clothes of the collection. What I really like is, the beautiful colour tones of the clothes. The light, vanilla, beige, white and olive tones make the dresses calm. If I look at them I feel myself in nature. But it's not a "safari-feeling-cellection", although the colours are beige, olive, but more a feeling, like I would go for a walk in a wonderful garden in the summer.
The textures are very simple, maybe too simple for me. They are good for a weekend-days, but I like to wear most of the the time more interesting, different-from-other clothes.
I don't like the prints too much, although this is a an AIDS campaign, but I think the designers weren't enough openminded. They concentrated too much on the theme instead of being more abstract.
So, I think, I would wear some of the clothes, for example the white pants, what is Selma Blair wearing, but I would wear those with other top and sweatshirt, so it would fit a little bit more to my style.

Keri Hilson
printed T-Shirts
Sky Ferreira
This is a good chance for you to be more active in charity, because if you buy from these clothes, your money will be given for people, who need help, and that's GOOD! And, you will also have a new dress in your wardrobe! I'm sure, I will buy something! And you?

New nail polish trend - yellow

The new yellow Chanel nail polish, called "577 Mimosa" became in a few days famous!! This will be a big favourite for women in Paris and for those who loves Paris, like me, because this wonderful polish is lighting on nails the same like Eiffel-Tower is lighting in Paris!

It also fits to the new trends:

  • with bouncy-coloured clothes you will use the rules of colour-blocking
  • if you like minimalism more, you can wear it with a minimalist black or white dress
  • a maxi dress, maybe with the flower-print-trend, would also look amazing
  • another good choice would be to wear it with shorts
                                                                          ⇓
                                                      !! perfect for summer !!

Important:
This nail polish is really bold, so your lack have to be perfect! I mean, if you can see stripes on your dry lack, you have to make it again, or you can wear it like that ugly! I would make it again!

You can buy it in any Chanel fragrance shops for 22€.

Coca Cola design by Karl Lagerfeld

We all love Coca Cola, but from now, we will love it even more!! Why? Karl Lagerfeld, fashion designer, has designed the new Diet Coce aluminium bottles. It was his second work for Coca Cola, the first came out in 2010. But these three designs of the bottles are even better. He also said: "I love this bottle (the old one) but it's time for a new one. Actually I want to do three bottles." He also said: "I loved what we did last year but I will love 2011 even more. I'm delighted about this collaboration."

He commented the whole campaign and collection: "It's exciting for me because I love the idea and as everybody knows, I drink Diet Coke and nothing else, night and day. It was pure pleasure to do a campaign with people I like and for a product I love."

TV campaign:
For the TV campaign, Lagerfeld got inspiration from the three Coca Cola heroines, Bernadette (1st design), Eleanor (2nd design) and Irene (3rd design). So, these stylish puppets will also appear on the TV screen.

Shots:
For the shots of the new designs Lagerfeld chose three amazing models, Coco Rocha, Heidi Mount and Jeneil Williams. These three lucky girls will present the three bottle-designs!

Lagerfeld numbered the bottles (1,2,3), so this was a clear sign, that they are gonna be must-haves!!

10 tips for the perfect and healthy skin in summer

Only a few month, and summer will begin!!!! HURRA!! I love summer, and not only because I've got holidays, also because the weather is sooo wonderful and you can wear those light, airy dresses!!
But! Sun can be dangerous in summer!! Labels are not only advertising their sun protection products to get more money, it's really important to use them.
I collected the 8 most important tips for summer, which if you will use, your skin will look perfect and will be healthy also in next fall.

Advanced Sunblock Lotion for 10.99$
1.  Use sunscreens every day!
The easiest way to protect your skin from high UV levels, is using sunscreens (it's available in different forms like creams, gels, lotions,...) every day. The most comfortable is, if you use it before you dress up (if you have a shower every morning, then after it).
The only thing, what is bad about using sunscreens is, that if you immediately dress up after using it, some of the products can colour your dress yellow. The worst is, if you wear white!! So, be careful and leave some time the screen to work itself off.

One of my favourite products are from Neutrogena, so I would suggest you to try their suncream:

Face Advanced Sunblock Lotion for 10.99$

2. Don't forget your face!
Do you know which part of your body gets the biggest part of sunshine? Your face. So, take care of it and use sunscreens for your face. Also, if you wear every day make-up, it's necessary to use suncream. You can use it 20-30 minutes before you do your make-up, so it will have time to work itself off.
If you like the suncream for body from Neutrogena, you can also buy it for your face:

Wet Skin Sunblock Spray for 7.99$

3. At the see ⎯ the biggest danger!

Many think, that if you are swimming in the water of a lake, you don't need sunscreens. That's the biggest lie I ever heard! Just think about it: on the beach there are no trees, which would have shadow. The water also allures light. So, if you are swimming or maybe sailing, have an extremely high attention of skincare! The best is, if you use waterproof sunscreens:

4. Sunscreens = 100% protection?? ⇒ NO
If you use sunscreens all the time, it doesn't mean you've got 100% protection. But, if you avoid sun from 11am to 3pm, then your skin will be perfectly safe. If you have to be outside in this timezone, try to be in shadow most of the time.

5. It's not too hot? Perfect time to sun yourself! ⎯ NO WAY!!!
Don't be silly. Everybody knows, that the hight of the UV level doesn't depend on the heat! So, even if it's not too warm, don't sit on the sun for more than 20-30 minutes!

6. Defecate light ➡ good chance for high UV level
You should also know, that even if it's defecate light, it means, the sun doesn't shine directly, because the clouds are catching the sunshines, the UV level can be very high. Also on days like this think of using sunscreens.

7. Sport & Sleep:
For the skin is sport and sleep in summer very important. But, be careful with doing sports (like running, playing tennis,...)! Only do it before 9.30am and only after 6pm, because the other times it's too hot (swimming is an exception) and you won't be healthier, if you will collapse after doing sport, because it will be so hot for you. But also don't forget doing sports, because your body and skin needs it, because the body gets easily tired and the skin looks easily stressed in the hot weather.
Sleep is also important for your skin in summer, because until you sleep, it has time to regenerate, and this is what you need in the dry and hot weather. Try to sleep 8-9 hours each night and a "fiesta" after lunch is also a good way to help your skin look amazing!

8. Water + Fruits + Vegetables = healthy skin
Well, a little maths, but I think it's easy to check, and very important to observe! These three things, water, fruits and vegetables are what you need, especially in summer. These are light and much better than heavy food, because heavy food can make you feel tired in hot weather. So, drink every day at least 2 liter water, eat a lot of fruits with different vitamins and also use as main product for your breakfast, lunch and dinner vegetables. It's like that simple, and your skin will look totally healthy.

I hope, my tips help you to take care of your skin this season and you will be able to enjoy summer without problems with your skin. I just can suggest you try these tips, because I also do them, and my skin looks in summer as healthy as in other parts in the year!

Maxi dresses

The biggest trends this season are maxi dresses!!! If you haven't bought one yet, it's time to go shopping, but urgent!!! In HK the weather is now warmer than in Europe, so 50% of the women are wearing already maxi dresses or skirts. I love this trend, because it's so comfortable in the summer, I just dress myself up in two seconds and you are immediately looking perfect!! Another advantage for this trend is, that everybody can wear it. And with "everybody" I mean also the not too skinny women.... So, it's an absolutely adorable must-have!

I picked some example of maxi dresses and skirts from my favourites, which I think, you would like. Maybe you will fall in love with one of them and buy it. :)

Mango:

Mango designed romantic maxi dresses, but we can also see some inspiration from the orient.
This dress would be perfect for holidays or for an afternoon party. I would suggest this dress only for those people, who haven't got too white skin, because both colour tones can make women with white skin look pale.

Zara:

Zara's design has a natural atmosphere. They are simple because of their nude and nature colour, but also bouncy because of the cut. I can imagine wearing this dresses in the city on the weekend in a cafeteria with my friends or at a lake, in beautiful sunshine, in a garden with fruit-trees and butterflies. People who likes nature and just want to enjoy life would probably love these dresses!!

My hair-stylist

Yesterday, I was at a hair-stylist in Hong Kong. The name of the hair-stylist is John Ma and he makes amazing hair cuts. The place, where he is working, is in middle of Hong Kong, in Central, SoHo, so it's very easy to get there. The hair wash before the cut was wonderful, because it was not only a wash, but a very good head massage!! My hair was at the end very nice! If you are colouring your hair, it's the best place to go there! And also the music is adorable!! You can see on the picture the hair-stylist with me:
