Interview with Karl Lagerfeld

Here is a short interview with Karl Lagerfeld about his new Diet Coke designs and advertising. I love the new bottles, they fill the eyes with energy, so it's a good design for a drink. The design is also very springy and bouncy, what most of the girls and women on the world like. And also don't forget the designer! I think the biggest reason, why people will buy these bottles is, that the designer is the worldwide famous Karl Lagerfeld. And I think this is absolutely ok, because his name is because of his designing-talent so powerful!

5 looks for spring 2011

Take your style with yourself, wherever you go. Five different places, five different time, five stylish look. Sunglasses trends 2011

I think, it's time to write about the sunglasses trends 2011. Spring is already here, so you really have to buy a sunglasses for 2011 urgently. But what kind of sunglasses should you buy? Well, that's a difficult question, if you don't know the latest trends. :) So, I just can suggest you, to read my post and find out what is in for this season!!

The Prada collection is the best example for the new trend:

The glasses are stylish and made with a lot of fantasy. 
The most important thing this season: the frame of the glasses has to have the attention.

Teen Vogue Handbook

I just bought the Teen Vogue Handbook a few days ago, and it's fantastic!!!!
There are a lot of important tips for people, who want to break in to the fashion world. You can read many interviews with famous designers, photographers, stylists, models and journalists. The text says, what you have to do, if you wanna work in fashion world. And of course, the design of the book is amazing: lots of pictures, different fonts and nice colours.
I can absolutely suggest you to buy, if you haven't bought it yet!! 

Fashion and photography festival in Hyeres

Every year, there is a festival in Hyeres, a small south-france town, for young fashion designer and photographer talents. 10 young people are chosen each year, and have the chance to win 15.000€, and of course a more powerful name. The festival will begin on the 29. April. There will took a lot of fashion shows and events place. The members of the jury are for example designer Christopher Kane or Jil Sander-director Raf Simons.

I find this festival very interesting, and I think it's very important, that also young designers get chance to break into the fashion-world!! The place, where it is, is also wonderful (I love France)!
I'm very curious, how the fashion shows are gonna be and I can't wait to see the collections of the young talents.

Beastly

I was yesterday at the cinema and I saw Beastly!! :) It was so sweet! It's the new version of the Beauty and the beast. 


Some people don't like that kind of movies, because they say, they are typical romantic "hollywood movies", but I don't agree with those people. I think, many just say it, because they wanna look serious and professional, like somebody, who really knows everything about making movies, but I'm not sure, that many of these people are even thinking about their opinion, or they just say what other say. Mostly, there's is one "cool" person, who says it's a bad film, and then the others, without thinking, agree with him. I think this is really bad. Everybody should think by herself!
Maybe, you think, these movies are always the same and boring, there's always a "happy ending", but who want to watch movies, after those you are sad or scared? Of course there are many very good movies, which haven't got a happy ending, but I still love these "hollywood productions"!!!

Stella Tennant

Stella Tennant - it seems like all designers would be dying for a shot with her. Maybe it's because her aura is sooo amazing, what we can also see on the campaign photos, or she is not just a good model, but an intelligent woman and interesting person. Or maybe the always-changing-style is what everybody loves in her character. I don't know - but I think, many models would like to know her secret!!

If you are interested, what I think about her:

I think she is not just a good model, she is also such a good actor, and so she can bring all the shots, and the most important thing, the clothes, alive. Her aura is very strong, and I think she is also intelligent. I don't think, she is a-typical-beauty, because her face contour is very special and unique because of her short haircut and her brows. 

I'm not saying she is my favourite model, but I think, she is doing her job very well!! Do you like her??
